Anyway great racing ...me and Skidders had another great race..he had faster laps than me which is bizzare as we started together but I passed the timers each time ahead of him..
that stinks of a conspiracy !!
I know DaveM did a 12.28 I saw it ! he didn't come in to the pub either the feckin steamrod..
The craic in the pub was excellent as usual..
Great racing tonight, I finally got my Yang back I think it's the pre-Nationals buzz. 3sek quicker and I would've been into 10min laps... I'll get there eventually. Felt deadly today, can't wait for the weekend now!

I fell off the wagon being led by Rudolf and Mikky and couldn't get back on again, I blame the grippy new Ignitor I had that Greg put on backwards and inside out and upside down
Gav Carroll is the only rider I've ever seen go from the top of the descent to the switchbacks, to the berm at the bottom in nearly one leap - jaysus!

What a race , the group dropped me on the start climb, with Byrne at the front, so I stuck it into the big ring and passed them all on to his wheel, and I went backwards and forwards throughout the race. I had the wobbly head of death on the second lap but Byrne pulled and willed me along, cheers man. Sorry to Davek and Colm for bar bashing you but I was determined to try and keep him in my view, now I know you slowed up but not by much and I still did a faster lap hahahahahaahah. Best race of the season and nobody caught us and passed us woooohoooooo!!!

Sorry I missed this week (through no fault but my own), I went to work with a bike and came home with it, all clean and un-cycled, put my back out with a bad sneeze the other day and had a dodgy toe from last weeks encounter with a tree, running late, my car was running out of petrol and it started to rain on the way over so I said **** it...I'll go home and have a beer instead...not nearly as much fun as racing, going to the pub for a beer and going home for another one.....see yez in Killruddery.
Hardest race of the year,it was 23C,humid as hell and no breeze,sauna like alright!!Started the race with Rudolf and Fergal,3 of us riding around like a train,till Fergal had a little dap on the switchbacks on Section 1.Rudolf and me passed Fergal there,but I dont know why Fergal didnt tag back on.Anyhows,Rudolf and I rode the rest of the race nose to tail,swapping positions and I pipped him to the line.My lap times were strong,so hopefully it means I will go quick on Sunday.Thanks to starter and timers/shouters.And great craic as ever in the pub afterwards,loved it!!
