A short update on where we are at in terms of the club league.
1. The process of getting permits is REALLY slow this year - we have all the applications in and I have been following up with CI and Coillte but there is very little feedback (people sick, people not following up and people moving jobs are the main reasons).
2. Ronan has developed a new and much simpler timing system which is MUCH easier to set up.
3. We will open registration for the league next week - this will (as ever) be free to members.
4. We will be charging a nominal fee to non (adult) members of 10euros.
5. First Round on May 5th.
6. There will be 12 rounds in total
Great new,thanks to Dave and team in getting all the paperwork sorted.
I'm also looking forward to Graham's long awaited return to the League.In fairness Graham,you looked very fit on that big spin to the Sugar Loaf 2 weeks ago.
Also, we have a brand new extension of section 1 ready, mostly thanks to Jon's relentless work!
We should be able to return to a 3 lap race with only a slight reduction of overall race time :]
