well that was a great spin..
very technical with a lot of climbing.Its a pity my fookin sweeper fooked off on me and Jack and Mick had to fulfill that role but such is life !!
Now everybody is welcome on these spins provided they remember that they are training spins for the ladies.
Two of them are on carbon Hardtails and I am trying to keep them in one piece. So the spin is designed around them, I aim to mix unreasonably technical sections with ferocious climbs because that worked for Damo and Alfie.
I absolutely hate night riding so thanks for coming along, its important that really strong riders like Alfie and Jack come along and technical riders like Smithers as well so that the girls get to see what quality is like.
But do me a favour, I am trying to keep the spin together so you fookers should be handing out advice while I'm doing that.
Every week its going to get harder.
Every week I will throw in a section of road. I expect everybody to cane themselves on those sections.
I'm happy, Carol loved the spin ..

Yup great spin, myself and Face met at Taylors, where He was in a bit of trouble as his cleat came off in his SPD, so we sat down and sortd it out, before we headed of up and over ticknock climbing up Metro 2 I really like that climb now, we then met captain chaos and the chaotics where we set off on a lovely spin around and around, Deadly craic with the Alf down metro yeehaa we were flying. I did think to myself that it was a technical spin alright but I always know there is method to your madness.

Really enjoyed that - getting used to the new wheels. Its hard to motivate yourself to get out in the cold, but once you're going its fine (except for Terry who is some moany old woman! - I'm going to call him Teresa from now on:))
