Hello people, first of all none of you ( well maybe one or two of you ) don't need anymore technical riding skill.
So if you are really serious about racing next year, whether it is the Enduro Series or the XC NPS or even the most important series, the EPIC club League.
Then you should be doing these.
Tuesdays Howth - Meeting at the Junction of Alfie Byrne Road and Clontarf at 6.00pm , now this time suits me , if you can't make that time, I suggest you post a later time and arrange the same, I will be doing 2 laps of Howth each week.
Thursdays 6.00 Foxrock with the ladies. Doing the usual spin to Delgany and back. Now once again that time suits me. I don't mind extending that if any of the ladies cant make it for that time.
If you are even remotely serious about your racing this is what you need to be doing. It might be fun doing night rides around familiar places but you are gaining nothing.
A roadbike is essential and each week it will get tougher and tougher.
Sundays then will be a 3 to 4 hour steady MTB spin.
There will be no waiting as it wont be at race pace and if you cannot keep up then you shouldn't even be in EPICmtb.
They also wont involve any dubiously gnarly bits that some people will be unable to ride.
However, if you are not training during the week either with me or on your own then dont even attempt to come along.
