Thanks Richie was going well till I got a rip in the side wall so fixed it enjoyed a few laps of the club course and back down scalp the gypsys told me where you went haha they where clapping and all
that was an absolutely awesome spin..great to have Mel along as well, what a fast spin for s3 people and above, not as many out as the last two weeks , which was weird ! Just 10 of us on one of the best and fastest rips around the leadmines and its savage climbs and descents..I will burn down any Coillte tree muncher that ever arrives there ! aaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhh that felt good, way better than the mental cases on Robins meat grinder that we saw in agony on the road !!! That didnt look like any craic at all !
now I had a very eventful day earlier up there when I got completely lost inside a jungle when I was scouting a trail, however luckily for me Scooby knew the way out ! I was like bleeding Bear Grylls, looking for snakes to eat and drinking my own piddle !! When I think about all the people out there that get excited by a bloody pie chart and a spreadsheet and who think Strava is the key to happiness I wonder is my brain wired wrong ! I could have been lost forever 500 yards from a bloody road and where my car was parked ! thank God for the keen sense of direction of the German Shepherd !
Ferocious pace from everybody, amazing loop and weird seeing it in the day light, only now I realise where we have been going for the past few weeks!! Thanks to Byrner and the speedy gang and the weather Gods...soo dusty!

Raydar met at Taylors pub for 5.45 where we climbed up to ticknock,up past toms on to "tomtoms" switchbacks thats the new name I just gave it, then up past metro onto satelite which is in sh1te, and along the trail that has all the lakes in it onto lower metro 1, down the fire road into Freds field and down past Foxes where we met the rest, where wee galloped along the road for awhile, then onto the the dry dusty heavenly trails of the leadmines, what a cracking spin, cheers Rich!!!
ah Smithers you're back in the game...I forbid anybody from mocking you in future ! except me of course ! yes Tom Toms, thats a good one..I went up by TomToms myslef, on to the WW up the back of Fairy and across to two rock , down Metro and freds and down to Palmers and then I led the old spin..52k for me and I am banjaxed !
Ah that was great. I was pushing hard from the back end of the spin, so not much stopping time for me! Some gallop around the club course, its riding well. So dusty the wheels slid out from under me on the backwards second section and I landed in a heap. No harm done. Love the spin down through barneys at the end. Tried to keep Smithers and Mick in sight. No chance. But I did manage to mess up rays line. HA ha sorry ray!
