Tonights night ride!

Class spin guys..
I left work at 5.00 with Carol on her Xc bike and we hammered it all the way up and around the back of the leadmines..did the grand tour of Carrickollogan, 2 laps of the club course and down the Scalp..
Then Jack, me,fergal, Roo and Luke hit the trails again.
Fast pace even on the FR bikes..the place was so dry it was sparkly.
But just 5 of us..?
Anyway we had the craic though it felt like I was pedalling through treacle on the way home, my legs had nearly given out.
Like nearly every spin that I do, they are not XC or DH, they're just a bunch of guys having the craic, pushing hard up and down.
Its all relative too, you know..the sense of danger and speed is actually greater on a less than sturdy bike bating off the top of Katy Gollagher and down the Scalp.
You are missing all the craic ,people..I don't know whay its always the same people..but it is !!
yeah a deadly spin, and all the pixie dust everywhere made it even better.

I have to say the main road up to the leadmines must the coldest road in dublin, feck my hands were so numb.

i do agree you you richie, the spins are just people riding the bikes and trying to get the most out of themselves. its a shame more people don't come along, even if its to hear Roo's singing!!
That was great, fairplay lads. The club course was so fast and then up to Cathy, i could feel the danger!! but suprisingly enough, there was plenty of grip. Its great to get out, its too much, they don't let me out much' and the new bike, she lovely! me thinks she'll be brought out on another date. XC sunday BRING IT ON AHHH!!
you'd swear it was Christmas morning for the lad, loving that bargain carbonator he was, I caught him licking the grips of his new bike at one stage, and singing too it, some dirty 'oul Dubliners tune, there's no-one quite like Zohan McRoolander.....
I can't believe a certain ladygay wanted to avoid it..the grip licking bender !!
I've been accused of many things, spying on your ma, wearing wide rimmed welly around sheep and other live stock, slagging the blind, even licking the odd letter box/doorstep/lampost...... but never never Grip licking, I wouldn't know to begin!!!
sounds good... I was out at 3 oclock in Djouce, bench cut, down, across the river, into powerscourt (the waterfall is half frozen...deadly) over to Crone, up Maulin (oh my god the top of the fireroad is hard with the water bars), down into the valley, up the other side, down ack, bumped in Mr Seymore, back up to the car park, great spin, just me and my imaginary friends....
Was Mr Seymoure singing to himself or what? Your imaguinary friends ..were they nekkid ?
