it was actually very dull on the top of Derrybawn ! savage loop from Laragh, very squelchy from the Shay Elliot and the descent off Derrybawn is unrideable as the weather has ruined the feckin thing..great craic, thanks Gene, Oisin and Handjob..fair play to Graham, he says now I know what Richard Lynch feels like on these spins, I said no, I love Richard !! some legends..we had to push Oisin back to the car from the bottom of the descent as his mech discombobulated..sitting in the sun though eating sambos and drinking Americanos was deadly !!
actually the deadly bit along the ridge was deadly and I managed to ride more of the steep top bit than was sensible..scared the flippin bejaysus out of myself !
Great spin, the funniest part had to be the group of lady walkers up near the top of Derrybawn cheering us on like we sprinting for the line in the XC Olympics!

them cheeky old biddies were singing YMCA when I passed them ! for me the funniest moment was " what are them things ?, oh they're goats !" I won't say who that was ! the thoughts of doing that feckin 6 hour nightmare Solo on Saturday is making me ill after todays adventure !
