Wicklow Way return trip in three days, approx 80k each day

A mate and I are planning a Wicklow Way spin on Wednesday 17th, Thursday 18th and Friday 19th of October. We will do approx 80k each day, stay in the same B&B on the two nights, somewhere around Glenmalure/Moyne section. We intend to drop change of clothes, etc on Tuesday evening and collect them on Saturday. We will be going at a social pace. Recommendations on a place to stay are welcome as is anyone who wants to join us.

That's a great auld spot

thats definetely where you dont want to stay, its too far north its half way you really want to be south of the iron bridge on day one , if you stay in glemalure you will start day two horrified from the drink and straight into a ******* of a climb.

Are you planning to do all sections of the WW? To be honest the part between Tinahely and Clonegall is not worth doing, not this time of the year anway. All tarmac or grassy farm roads with cattle gates etc.
I would stay in Roundwood and do the following:
Day 1 - Roundwood to Dublin and back on the road (around 80k)
Day 2 - Roundwood to Tinahely and back on the road (around 80k also)
Day 3 - Roundwood to Glenealy via Laragh, Trooperstown and Carrick Mountain (probably around 60k but loads of fun there!)

I once drank 2 bottles of Dubonnet in that place one night then tried climb a big dirty gully full of wet snow the next day in Barravore, jeeeesus...I think I have had a 30 year hangover after it..
