Now folks ,having discussed this with the Committee we have come up with a bit more organisation regarding Sunday spins.
Sundays , I will post a route and we will stick to it ( except in cases where , like at the moment, the weather is dubious)
Except for the once a month social spin, we will just go at a pace that suits us. If you get dropped, get better.
Now as soon as the Weather improves and the evenings get longer, we will be doing more spins in Wicklow. However these will be limited to 10 people. The reason being we can't have dozens of riders in the National Park getting noticed.
just also bear in mind folks that there are also loads of other spins during the week..
Mondays and Wednesdays for Intermediate riders ( Monday will be a Wicklow Spin come spring and Wednesdays will be the same spin as the Savage tuesday one )
Tuesdays and Thursdays will be like a Sunday..keep up if you can.
Richard and others run spins too, so its all good.
Richie, is there no way we could do groups of 5/10 whatever... If 15 people turn up, or who is going to know who is going to turn up on any particular night? If there are more than 10 could we not form a slower and faster group? Just a thought, don't see why it cant work?
Well if people parked in Laragh the group could be split, 10 or so head to Scarr/Brockagh/Ewoks, 10 or so Brockagh/Ewoks/Camaderry, the loops should take roughly the same time. Meet back at the Triangle, sit on the grass in the sunshine, have a Coke and some carrot cake from the tea room. It would be nice to all ride as one but as Richie said, it's just not on.
Miners should be out of bounds unless it is a 9am start or earlier.
