Tuesday night Spin

I won't be out for this one so is there anyone willing to lead this expedition?

I'll give it a shot. If i get my back tyre and rear mech sorted after sundays social spin, then i'll be out on the Morewood, otherwise it'll be the xc bike. Where do people wanna go? Kindlestown/GOTD? - Ballinastoe? - Leadmines? Treerock?

Kindlestown sounds good to me. I will definitely be out this week out this week.

Just thinking, we may want to pick a location that will be easy enough to drive to if the roads are pretty bad tomorrow evening! Took the side road on the way to the leadmines today, and half way up the hill the car started to slide back down the hill ! No friggin traction...

Unfortunately Leadmines is probably going to be the easiest to get to unless the kilmac hill is clear then Ballinastoe might be an option.

Fair enough...we'll see how the weather holds up tomorrow and make a judgement call on the location.
This will be the usual 'Al's handy tues night spin', ideal for those looking to get fitter/ and or getting into shape for the racing season, be it Dh or Xc. Plus riding in the snow is deadly craic!

fair play Keith, we used to do Killiney Hill at night for a handy one, back in the day. if you couldn't drive anywhere, we'd meet up at the Shop at The Druids chair, go in through the gate up the hill to the Obelisk and do all the trails there and over at the Quarry.
But you would need somebody who knows the trails. Going down the steps in The Quarry was always mental..

You are very brave guys... I sat on the M50 tonight for over 4 freaking foooking hours!!!!

Won't be able to make this myself couldn't make it home last night so I have no bike with me today, enjoy it. I'll have to get out and suffer with Byrne and crew on Thursday night instead.

snow??? it'll be schomp where ever you go... unfortuntaely i have a work thing to go to so you can all have a nice quiet spin tonite ;-)

How about meeting in the Glen Of The Downs car park? No icy back roads to get around.

Ye, thats a good idea. Means we can get in GOTD, then a lap of kindlestown and finish with the deadly descent back to the cars. If everyones cool with that, then we'll meet there for 7.20? If that doesn't suit, let me know!
