They have asked that we park at lambs and roll down
Complimentary food in the blue after the spin
It would be good for the club to support our neighbours I can't go as I'm working

The celebrate the 25th year of existence of MADMTB, the MAD committee invites you to attend the “MADMTB 25th Anniversary Spin”.
We are going to have a mass, all ability spin on Saturday the 30th of August. The plan is to rendezvous Taylor's, ready to depart at 12:00. Due to large numbers expected (and the alcohol expected post spin) we’d ask that those who can spin from home do so, or if you could park in Marley, the Blue Light, Lambs or elsewhere, it would really help things run smoother on the day as parking is very limited in Taylors..
For the rest of the day, it'll be nothing but craic, with a nice social spin for 2 hours, then a climb to the Fairy Castle peak for a record-breaking Mad-Avalanche race to the Blue Light! As is traditional, it'll be a mass “le mans” running start, followed by a pick-your-own-route descent, with points awarded for finishing position and trail choice! Elbows out guys! For anyone who wants to take it easy on the descent, or if you're unsure of the various routes down the mountain, there'll be a couple of committee members leading a group down a fixed path to the Blue Light.
Once we all finish at the Blue Light (roughly 2:30pm), we'll tot up the scores, compare routes, repair damage, take on vital liquids, and there'll also be food provided by the club including some signature Blue Light BBQ burgers!
Then, we'll basically just take it easy and shoot the breeze at the Blue Light, with an easy freewheel back to the car anytime for those parked at Lamb Doyle's, Taylor's or Marley Park. There'll almost certainly be a plan to head out on the pints later in the evening, but we'll sort that out on the day!
It'll be some spin...but be wary; we are planning unpredictable and bizarre surprises along the way!
