Nice spin up, over, down, up, down and back home. Roo was suffering from the off but stuck with it; fair play. Bon set a nice fast pace. Off of the night goes to me for burying the front wheel in the shlomp and then falling sideways into the muck.

Good spin lads - nice mild conditions and it wasn't too schlompy, except for the section of quicksand Dave found! Myself and Roo got back to my car which was parked near Taylors, only for me to realize that I had lost my keys somewhere on the mountain. Not too happy!! Cycled home and got a lift back to the car with the wife's keys and at least got the car home. I had only come off the bike at one spot halfway down one of the forest trails, so headed up there at 8am this morning and went straight to that spot. There they were the little feckers, sitting in the mud at the side of the trail. Legend!! Car keys still working after sitting in the mud and rain for the night. Great start to the day.
