I tried going through Knocksink before, but my god it is a long and very steep fall down to the river if you did happen to come off. Is there another route through which runs lower down alongside the river??

edit - looked like a great route btw

You can try the Walkers trail, lovely and safe!

Going through Knocksink always feel I am in the film Deliverance think it is the sound of the banjos in the back ground
