enniskerry, knockree, crone, maulin, down the switchbacks, up ride rock, down to the river, over the fence halfway up the other side,
stage five, earls drive, toro, fartnocker, step climb, outlaw, car park back to enniskerry
as per last week there will be no hand holding and no stopping.
it would be a good idea to buddy up with another rider and stick together
if you are at eniskerry early then you could possibly head off on the route and we will catch up to you
you need to be completely self sufficient on this spin. I carry a bag with first aid equipment, co2, tools, a hand pump, water, and various other bits to get me out of any situation
I would expect that everyone carries the same kit and rides responsible
Jazus that was tough. Forgot my helmet light, so only had one on bars. Not good, half blind. Fair play to Mick. Only for your puncture you would have been with the lads id say. Pissy night up there, but glad we stuck together. Am I the only one who gets freaked out up the dark forest all alone.? Feck1n hate being alone up there. Cheers folks
Really enjoyed that, despite arriving home like a soggy sponge. Ate the fridge at 10pm.
Loved being on the hardtail going up (especially Maulin the beast), but need to learn how to handle it on the down - as I was slidderin all over the shop

Great to be back with the crew after 2 weeks on the road bike. It can be a good thing sometimes! gives you a hunger for mtb.
Really enjoyed that route, now that it's organised with the buddy up ..nobody will be left on their own!
Hope to be out next Tuesday.
