Thursday 12th Savagery 7.00 Djouce

Everybodies welcome to start but its savage to finish.
I have asked Jack to take the Saturday spin as I'm caught up in a Dad thing then, Sunday I'm busy doing something other than The Djouce trail Challange. So amuse yourselves,

I would recommend that all serious XC riders start going on these Thursdays..they are 2 hours of savage climbing and savage descending. There is some waiting but not much. But the rewards in terms of fitness ,strength and personality are limitless.

Is this spin on xc bikes or 6" trail bikes?

oh Xc bikes baby ..absolutley sorry 7.00 is xc all thw wy..5.30 wear whatever you like.

I can't believe we broke Oz on his first night back with us..fair play lads..
I believe there was carnage behind us..

and anybody going on them has to be 100% self sufficient..tubes and an inflation device are not just essential they are required..
and Al, we need more of those Jellies..we all had a couple..frickin deadly !!

Holy sh1t Damo fell even further down the Cliff than I did last week..somebodys going to die on that !

Thanks to John for his advice and motivation in pump usage. Nothing worse than casing disappearing lights over a dark and lonely mountain.

Great to see Oz out. Pity he got sucked into the circus on Maulin.

Cheers for letting me tag along tonight lads! I'd love yiz if it weren't for that switchback Climb. God bless Rudolph for that mechanical near the top of it. Some craic though after that. Deadly Route.

All went wrong last night, fell to many times,broke the chain and to make it worse my power link fell on the ground. Thanks to Alan to come back and give me a hand finding the link. Then further down the decent there was group with OZ repairing a puncture. Took the easy route back to the car. Good night, realy liked the up hill untill chain broke. better next time.

Thats was another deadly savage spin. although painful and I had to dig deep on more than once it was great spin. if you can get to the best decent it worth it. great at night.
