Just three of us in the end. Very surprised how even a trail I’ve done 50 times is full of surprises in the fog. Not cold once we kept moving - apart from the toes.
Strong return from Tara - interval training up and down the Shogue climb as she was waiting for us to arrive.

I can make the Thursday spin after all! My meeting for this evening was cancelled.

My wife rang our doctor yesterday morning to try and get appointment for Rachel as she has fever and blisters in her mouth and they said they dont have a free appointment until Monday morning!

I found out from Laya that there are drop in clinics for minor injuries and illnesses that stay open late so we brought her to the one in Santry and were seen within 5 mins of filling in the paperwork.
The consultation was 150 euro but Laya pay 75 euro towards it so we just had to pay 75 which isnt bad if you are stuck. They are open till 10pm too which is handy.
So she has foot and mouth disease.
