Saturday 23 May Djouce 10.00am Spin

I hope to make this one. I'm just back from injury so I'll probably have to take it easy, would this spin be ok.

I've been MIA after one spin with the club a few months ago. I haven't collected the CI licence or paid the membership yet, could I sort that out on Saturday?

great spin..savage craic..loads of whammies..great trails..loads of people..the best descent would be crap if it was dry..what can I say , i pity the fools lying in bed or working for the man..
RichardL, Andy W and Dave kelly will be the new Damo, Alfie and Richie..savages, savage..
Nothing cheers me up like seeing people getting better and enjoying themselves..the pace was a bit hot at the start thanks to Our guest riders and Alfie and Luke trying to show who was the big dog !! but that doesn't do any harm sometimes..

great spin today, thanks richie. we def need some new newbies cos the old ones aren't giving us adequate recovery time anymore ;-)

battered, bruised, mucky, wrecked and still finding foliage in my helmet from my attempted headstand over the handlebars manoeuvre but really enjoyed it!

Thanks for a great spin and tour of Djouce - hope I didn't hold you up too much!

nobody held us up !! theres not supposed to be holding up issues on Saturdays but i will be bringing EoinLs dress sense up at the next Committee meeting and Als went and got lost ! not before he asked Shona to marry him..which is not quite as bad as telling Luke in front of his girlfriend that he can have the girls clothes back Al found in Lukes car...

Cheers Richie! If you need any advice with your own wardrobe, don't hesitate to ask. You'd look great in lilac.

Though I thought I had completely conformed - baggie shorts, cycling top, not a single item of climbing gear on me.... hmmm... maybe I'll get a funny looking helmet like yours for next week.

Great spin. Appreciate the committment you and the other spin leaders show organising this every week.

here ..thats the helmet of the future..available from Freewheel in Arnotts..i was so comfortable in todays sunshine and showers..I felt fast..
a for Andys bareback ride at the end of the spin, what goes on ,on tour stays on tour, suffice to say squirrels and hedgehogs were running for cover..

I'd say the poor creatures are still reeling in horror at the sight, the little critters will be scarred for life!!

Hey,

Great spin today. I couldn’t think of a better way to spend the morning. Thanks to everyone on the spin for the craic, the encouragement and for waiting up while I struggled up the hills. I had a blast, although it may not have looked like it at the time, and was buzzing at the end of it.
