Nice loop, trails running great, some great chats and delicious coffee and cake at the end thanks to Al. Lost Caroline at Trooperstown due to dropper post failure. There was Al, Caroline, Marko and myself....thanks for coming guys!

Ah lads was so pissed off to leave that spin just before the end. Stupid dropper going again, think it may have been when I raised the seatpost but who knows - heap of junk Ks fusion are anyway. Was planning to get a new one this week as sick of problems with those ones so hopefully i can get it sorted quickly! That was so much fun, love all the trails around there. Great chats & lafs, quite an educational spin too at times especially about my constant mask wearing in work etc so thanks for that Alan & also about Bill Gates too, v interesting stuff. I can't wait to listen to that Waterford ad mentioning the Vikings, hope I'm not drinking coffee when I hear it as I may burst out laughing. I will find out aswell who the owners of that Glendalough Hotel are must be making a mint lol :) Good to see u Marko its been ages. Thanks a mill everyone great spin .

Thanks Tony for leading the spin today. It was a different route that I've done before, which I think was easier climbs but still got the best trails in. It was brilliant and wicklow looked great in the bright sunlight.
Was great to see Marko after a long time.
Enjoyed the coffee and cake at the end too.
The owner of the cafe was very pleasant today.

Sorry about your Dropper Caroline, get yourself a rock shox reverb one.

Shit start with my bladder pack leaked out all over my back seat of my car and left me with no water , Caroline saved the day with a small bottle of fizzy water which I refilled my bladder pack with, which was a first...Tony lead the spin from a different route which was deadly , we hit the jump trail first which was great as I had freash legs, those jumps are class but leave no margin for error .... great chats steady pace beautiful landscape glendo never disappoints one of my favourite places....and Alan Thanks a million for the coffee and cake what a treat . Also we just established Tony has only being mountain biking since the first lockdown and is class on a bike also put me to shame as he knows more trails than I do especially in my backyard wicklow ..... sorry we lost you Caroline to your dropper . ... Thanks lads and lady for a great morning on the bike....

Ah lads was so hard to leave that spin with the stupid dropper failing. Between helmet, lights & now dropper would really like to get a nice run of doing full spins one of these days! Yep will get a rockshox reverb Alan back to the old reliable. Just glad it didn't happen too early on in the spin or I would have had real fear of missing out. Great crack all the way around. Heres some pics of Tony's puncture and Marco taking cover just in case his very old cannister had turned itself into a bomb & maybe blew Tony and Alan and Tony's bike up :). That's so funny u went in for cake and coffee in Greens. Glad the owner was pleasant too. Hope the toilet was back working ha ha

BTW Caroline, regarding dropper posts, the rockshox reverb is very good, I have one on my bike, but very expensive. If it was me I'd get a brand x dropper, much cheaper but very reliable. The reverb works hydraulically so more difficult to maintain, brand x is cable activated, so a lot easier.

Ok thanks for that Tony will keep in mind, I had a rockshox reverb stealth before and never had much trouble with it, not fully sure what to do now.

Caroline I have a one up v2 dropper post and it's great it gets great reviews. It's not expensive simular price to brand x
