There was a trickle of rain as we went up Killmashogue Lane which continued like that until fairy castle where it was replaced with thick fog which made it hard to see beyond a couple of meters in front which made it hard to find the start of the descent down the other side, but we made it down OK like snails.
We were able to pick up the pace after that and we were all keeping together on the ups and downs. Niamh is a flyer, as Tony says, fast up and down. With the new chain now, there was no stopping her.
We met a few runners, but no sign of Conor, maybe he will come back to join us on spins again.
