The prodigal son Rafal is alive and well and will join me on leading this Saturday spin.

Leaving usual spot at 9.30am from across the road from the Blue Gardinia pub.

Will be taking in Sehan mountain and Slade.

Pace will be like usual sat spin or a bit slower.

Poor Rafal had high fever and tested positive for Covid yesterday so couldn't make it obviously.

Was miserable at the start with the rain when we arrived, but it became a light drizzle and then stopped by the time we got to the forest.

We decided at the start it wasn't the weather for Sehan mountain so decided to stick to Slade.

Daragh O'Rourke took over the role of prodigal son to fill in for Rafal. Was great to see him after such a long time. I joked about him choosing this Saturday to make his comeback spin after all the good weather Saturday spins we had for weeks.

Kieren, Rory and Caroline McArdle also came.

Trails were riding nicely.

I could have picked better weather for my come back spin alright! I really enjoyed that though, it was great to get out on the spin.

Great seeing everyone there today. Hopefully I'll be able to make more of the Saturday spins now.
