That was class. the carnage down alans track was hilarious.. Ed doing his best impersonation of a crash barrier and Shame doing his best crowd surfing.....The drifty corners kept it sideways all the way down!! great crowd and all the trills and spills you expect on a Tuesday spin..

Another deadly spin. Djouce was super slippy there was plenty of up and down the downs where deadly. Alans trail gave us all enough laughs to keep us going till next week. Good solid pace not too fast and hardly any stops.
I began to question the wisdom of doing Alan's trail tonight until Sham did the bike skittles move. It was like something you'd see on piste snowboarding. Then I realized that was exactly why we were there.
Sorry Harri you'd bailed by the time I'd heard you'd broken your hanger as I had a spare one in my pocket that may have fit your bike.

Alans trail never fails to leave u with a smile on ur face. Weather it be from making it out unscathed (a rare thing) or laughing at other peoples misfortune.
Thank God for Ed, if it wasnt for him I reckon I'd still be sliding. We must have gone another fifteen feet even after I hit him, me on my belly face down in the mud accelerating with bike still attached. Feckin hillarious that trail really is a crowd pleaser.

I dont think I have ever tried to ride a bike in conditions quite as slippy as Alans trail tonight bar maybe sheet ice and that would be a close call.

Great spin, for all I saw of it. . . after a short bout of freeriding with AlanK & Shona a tree ripped my rear derailleur off, I think It's just the hanger - thanks Bren for the kind thoughts, I might have a spare at home, I think. . . Major mechinacal had to happen at some stage.
It was a long walk back from where we were (well it felt like it) with my mech playing the spokes like a de-tuned Chinese guitar - ploinky, ploink, pink, i decided not to start wailing to accompany the racket.
Great spin, I wasn't falling all over the place, still need to get my head together in parts. . . & I wasn't dying every turn of the cranks. . . amazing. Fun times thanks to all.
