Within 5 min he'd left Paul for dead and by the time I'd left we were another few men down, we'd being in a fight with the Mountain Mentalers and Shona, for some reason*, had headed off over Tribadden.
I think Jack was wearing jeans too!
I can only imagine was happened next. I'd say Byrner will be picking up the pieces of that spin on his ww tour tomorrow.
Hahaha, Well it was a bit messy alright, Sorry to anyone who got dropped or went the wrong way. I decided in the car park with Jack to cut out tibradden on the way over and just go down wocca wocca's I take the blame not Jacks fault at all.
Anyway It turned into a Savage spin 40k and 4.53 mins out on the bike in that perfect weather. Lots of waiting but I didn't care it was so nice out. Lots of mechanicals Dave dave had 2 punctures, enduro broke a chain, max tried to kill himself again.
we decided after the mini bog to go up and over to the feather beds and back into cruagh, up tibradden, and fairy......down fairy to the boneshaker in the shizzle and back out onto the boneshaker and home. started with 16 ended up with 4.
Big thank you to Jack for bring up the rear all day, fair play.

Byrner would be proud of you ! That was one of the toughest spins i've got through, more bodies dropped then i can remember !
Deadly route though, some new trails i'd not been on before,and cracking sunny weather to boot, don't think i've ever got 2 punctures on one spin before . .thanks for hanging on.
I'm off to eat and lie down in a dark corner. . rocking back and forth and humming to ease the pain . .
What a great day to be out, so dry and sunny! I had regained my max power and was flying until the moment when the mountain claimed my hand, shoulder and almost got my face! I was a bit sore for the rest of the spin but enjoyed it nevertheless. In parts the XC training looked more like an adventure/enduro one, thanks to Eoin's secret trails...
