Tuesday 20th - Intermediate Spin - Lamb Doyles 6.30pm

The Godfather of Irish Mountainbiking, Mr Richie Byrne is going to lead the Intermediate Spin on Tuesday so don't miss this one!!!
Richie is going to lead us on the same route as the Tuesday Savage Spin has been using for the last couple of weeks and it's a good one!

This is a fairly long spin so probably best to bring lights for the last 30 minutes or so. Also we're heading a fair bit away from home so everybody needs be self sufficient - tubes, pump, tools etc!!!

Last Tuesday Spin before the start of the Club League - we all need the training!

N.B 6.30pm start!
thanks Richard..
we will be taking it steady. Anybody who was in Djouce today will be well able for this and unless you are Gerry McInerney or one of the senior savage Dhers..no fookin flat pedals !!
it will be non stop but not blistering !!! its a brilliant training loop with brilliant downhill sections.
If you all use cop on and don't burst off at the Start then you will be able.
Keen to go along on this but don't have off-road lights - Looks like last 20 mins or so is on the road back from enniskerry, so would you survive with just commuter lights for that bit to avoid being run down?! or is the spin sufficiently long that off-road lights are a must? cheers.
jaysus I thought there would be loads of people doing this !! bunch of slackjawed wasters !!its not going to be relentless, just steady..calm, steady non stop..I'm actually looking forward to a civilized evening of biking!
this is a DEADLY training loop, apart from the evil drainage ditches!!!!
if i didn't have a million things on this week i'd be out with a big happy head on me.
enjoy!!!
Richie I'll be along for this, even though a civilized pace could be a shock to the system !! Dave we got back on the road last tuesday with 1 rear light between two people ! so commuter lights should get you back no problem, it's all i'm bringing too :)
by the way ..the start is 6.30 at lambe Doyles pub , this business of trying to avoid the start does not wash, unless you are a savage who knows where we are going and gets out of work late.
If i or any of the other spin leaders posts a certain time at a certain place , then thats it. Otherwise what has happened in the past, is that we end up looking for the individual when they haven't arrived.
I'll be there for this, really looking forward to it. It would be good to have an enjoyable spin before the pain of the club league. It sounds like a good spin and the trails should be in great shape.
Enjoy, should be a nice spin alright. I'm up to my tonsils with work and other stuff going on, havent spent more than an hour in total inside my own house in a week now!!
Where are you sleeping!! Told you should have let me park the camper there, nice toasty bed for an afternoon nap!
