that was class and what a night for it. even the road on the way back was good trying to reel in Alfie, legs failed on last climb to car park. Next time ! thanks Richie or showing me the lines thro the bog and up to Prince Willies, I wouldn't have caught the others without you.

Really enjoyed that spin tonight,was going well behind Smithers across the Bog of Death,then my chain broke as I was heading up to Prince Willies.So out with the Power Link and multi-tool,fixed the chain and ended up behind Enduro.So pushed myself to keep up with him down Bag o Chips and the Green Mile and out onto the road down to Enniskerry.Then as we were coming up the hill out of Enniskerry the bastad Enduro does what he always does,upped the pace to 10,so I jumped on to his wheel,and thats where I stayed till we got to Lambers!!Enduro is one fit man,all I could do was hang onto his back wheel!!Me and Max left the carpark at 8.50pm,and Cluchies car and Dave's RX8 were still there,hope they didnt have problems.
Jeysus ... I felt like **** tonight! Completely blew my lights out before the Wicklow Way and had to stop for a while I was so ****ed! Managed to get to the end and met Eamonn and DaveK in Enniskerry pretending to be kids and jumping their XC bikes!! Then met the brother-in-law in the Leadmines and did a lap of the Club Course with him! Great night to be out on the bike!
well as I had burned off yesterdays Guinness extravganza I headed back out along the road to Enniskerry..
I saw Stevet just outside on Blackthorn road..
Then I saw SteveM in Stepaside and picked up
Hairoil and Kellyer at the Kilternan Hotel..they had stopped at the Dirt Jumps in Enniskerry for a pose..
I've huge respect for Dirt Jumpers but it really attracts the posers !! i've seen a few flutes in their on fancy bikes leaning on them !!
I saw Stevet just outside on Blackthorn road..
Then I saw SteveM in Stepaside and picked up
Hairoil and Kellyer at the Kilternan Hotel..they had stopped at the Dirt Jumps in Enniskerry for a pose..

1 hour 47 minutes..including the Dream mile..thats pretty damn excellent for Alfie and the boys !!

Alfie is rider Number 1 at the moment..but he will get complacent if hes left there..
And I'd hate to see that..and theres a few superheroes nipping at his heels !!

I was with Eamo and Dave K for a good bit then was behind them and had a whopper over the bars into some gorse, lost them went down the end of the trail i was on had no idea where i was came out on a fire road somewhere, went to the bottom of that and came out on the road that goes from Eniskerry to Curtlestown. Its a good spin looking forward to next weeks.
Wow, that's was uber savage today. My heart rate was high up all the time and I only managed to reach for my water bottle three times! Alfie definitely won the spin today but we almost had him with Andrew on the last climb to the pub. I was hoping for a steady team riding on the road but he decided to go for it at the climb from the Scalp and he was gone! Only the hard work with Andrew let us close the gap to him. Whatever drugs you are taking for your back Alfie I want some!
