well that was an eventful spin for a large group of savages..as a reward for services rendered to me over the past year, I invited a select group of riders on this, the spin of the year..the turnout was huge, several key figures were missing, which was a mistake on a day like that , probably never to be repeated again..
Even though most of us were on all mountainbikes..the few headcases on XC hardtails survived the spin.
The Climb was as expected unbelievably savage..but the descending..mother of God...i've never seen anything like it..it was drier than last year !
there will be my Video and Gerrys to follow..and loads of photos I expect...
I doubt I'll have time to run any spins between now and the XC Nationals as I am going on Holidays and I have too much to do to finish the Course..

That was the "Savagest" climb ever but the views were incredible from the top! Some really dodgy bits on the way back down and the pace of the fast guys was amazing - much respect!
It makes all the hard work over the winter worth it to be able to "hang in" on a spin like that! You know it's going to be a good spin when Gerry Mac turns up!
And that was DaveM on the hardtail Richie!!!
and I won't be going up there again on Tuesday lads..that feckin Reign is just too much hard work..I'm completely bollixed !! 2 days in a row on it has me banjoed !! i need a windy down fork as Killian says and give that bleedin gravity dropper back to Fecker !! going up there today was torture..coming down though was immense !!

Yea thanks to all u mothers for a wonderful start to daddies day. I'm sitting back in the garden whilst my 12 yr old cracks open another lager,pour moi!!. O what a life. And a special thanks to our big daddy,Ritchy Byrne for the spin,and spoofing your ho le off to the boys in their jeep.just shows to go ya. That he can be charming sometimes!!
Any foreign legion lad I ever met was totally off his nut.scarily mad lads. I tried to join once,but my da saved me,true too. I think I've got sun stroke. Love one of those foreign hats, as the back of my neck is Ginger too. What about micky and his outburst on black lads. Shocked I was,I tell yez.
When this summer is over and Three Rock and Djouce are snow capped - todays spin will be the one I'll remember as the definition of summer mountain biking. That was fantastic. Thanks Richie, oh and you cant take back that gold star - I was on my epic XC machine!
