For all XC or Death Riders..and the usual crew..
or anybody reasonably fit but definitely able to ride the mad stuff..
remember as its Camaderry..you can drive to the Car park at Turlough hill and meet us there..
But then you'll have to get your ass back up there after..
unless theres a couple of you and you leave one car at the bottom ..
oh yes..it doesn't get any better than that ..Camaderry flat out off the top with savages..me, Alfie,Andrew,Jules,Vinny,AdamT, Dave Rusty and Micky nailed that bad boy !!
What a brillaint bunch and what a trail..video to follow , i didn't have time to take a picture !!
Adam and Jules' first time on Camaderry and even after the rain she was in perfect nick!!
Lads , you don't know what you are missing !!
That truly was a deadly spin, first time up there and I'm so glad I made it out, spins like that will make you sort out your priorities to get out, I think the Vikings must have left magic dust up in those hills it does ya good getting out there.
legend, I was wrecked after that climb but as always the descent makes it very worthwhile. jumping off rocks on the full sus is just magic. Being last up the hill is a killer - all that work and your still slow. Great group of lads out, thanks to all.
Its a pity more people can't make the 6.30 start. I start them at that time because it suits me, i go straight from work, i can never wait to get on the hills.
Plus we are losing light in the evenings rapidly. But if you can make them you should, juggle your work a bit or use your imagination..
we don't get to do these trails enough when its dry, when theres no racing in the winter they just aren't as good and the weather on the summits can be grim.
You also need to be relatively fit..but most of all you have to be self sufficient and competent.
Because all the regulars are hard men with huge experience, its not fair on them to be kept waiting.
And as Micky has shown, you don't need an all mountain machine..though you do need to be handy on your XC bike.
