XCOD...well i think it was death for me!!! Those switch backs nearly killed me, but all the DH bits were deadly,grass down to the river and then Disco Stu and GC,loved those bits!! Nice one lads,great spin!!

That was Killer XC and it got me alright.Shockingly suffered from the murdering switch backs on. But great to be out with such hardcore legends on one of the last of the light free spins. BTW Thanks for waiting.

some craic alright..those switchbacks on Maulin south face are savage cabbage..middle ring no dabs and you know you are alive !!

Yeah definitely a taste of death for me too, I thought I was going to puke at the top of those switchbacks, pedaling the monster in the granny ring like mad with my face glued to the handlebars to get it to the top nearly killed me. But hey, it was worth it... it always is!
The state of some of you though... full lycra and shaved legs!

here..i don't shave my legs and I cycled out , picked Micky up in Enniskerry and brought him up the road from Powerscourt near Colins house..he didn't like that !!
Anyway you need the workout !!
riding them switchbacks is the hardest thing you'll ever do on a bike and the effort doesn't stop after they're finished !

Found the spin hard enough,body is still tired after Cooley Thriller.And the poxy chain keeps suddenly crashing off the middle ring onto the granny gear,resulting in knee hitting the handlebars,not pleasant!!Will have to have a look at the bike before the club race.Great group of lads out,just to try and keep up with some of the top club riders drags youre fitness up a bit more.
And a special mention to Richie,joined him on the road up from Enniskerry,and he led me up some narrow backroad thats even steeper than the normal road up to Djouce,got the heart pumping I can tell you.
