So theres no confusion about this Tuesday Night spin.
1. if you can, park in Enniskerry, either on the road side on the hill or at the Triangle. This is to stop Cluttering up the road outside the forest and causing a nuisance to the locals.
2. its 7.00 or when I get to the lower car park . I make no apology for this, for 5 years, i went on night rides every week with Alfie and Damo..when they are ready, I am ready.
3. You can go on this spin if you are a savage. Thats somebody who I know rides his bike every week, hail rain or snow, does not bleat on about injuries and does not concern himself with tyre pressures, flats or SPDs, Hardtail or full suss, they know what works for them and they are happy with it.
4. Nobody is to be left on their own. You all know how good or bad you are, Make friends and buddy up.
Golden Rules.
Number 1 - Tubeless tyres are Compulsory, at this stage if you are still running tubes, you don't belong on these spins.
Number 2 - 90 Minutes is the Cut off, you should be able to do the loop in 90 minutes.
Number 3 - No going early , you will be missing the point.
Now I've no problem with people turning up and having a go, as long as they are not on their own.
If they only get to Powerscourt at our pace, then they are doing great.
Finally, if you can't keep up, thats your fault, not mine. Don't email me complaining or complain to anybody else about me leaving you behind. They will tell me and you will end up on my **** list.
We are going back to the old ways.

well that was a deadly spin, I had major concerns after last weeks debacle and I hung around in the middle and fair play to Dman, Davek and Eamon, we lost SteveM again but he abandoned us not the other way round ! We tipped along real nice after I waited for Dave to fix his light and Eamon to fix his gears..and the pace increased brilliantly once we caught sight of Jack,Micky and John just ahead of us.
Perfect conditions and well done to the 3 lads for pushing it with The Old Man !!
I stopped at the top of the River Climb and The Culchie and his Team were just beginning their descent.
That was probably my last Tuesday spin from Djouce at that time due to finishing work at 6.00 in the future so I'm glad it was a good one

That was the business. Brilliant loop, non stop with alfie and Sir Max from Poland. Conditions were perfect. Fair play to all the folks on these spins, they are relentless but will make you savage..
probably my favourite route for a spin and the conditions were perfect tonight aswell,i started a bit slow but managed to get on the front end of the spin by powerscourt mr mulchrone was on a mission tonight and i was just hanging on to his wheel for the whole spin.theres nothing like riding on the limit like that up those lung bursting technical climbs and down those superfast technical descents didnt have time to take a drink tonight.

Great loop that, big thanks to Ronan for guiding us around. No waiting around considering how fcuked I am after the weekend and it was good that Andy and Gar had a great little chat about knitting patterns coming up Maulin, it should keep them busy for the long dark winter nights!!! That spin will, I'm sure, make me deadly!
Yea that's a great loop for a Tues night, that climb up towards Maulin is a real killer! Was tipping along nicely for the second half of the spin with Jack, Micky and Skippy, all was going great untill Skippy decided to create a new trail onto Disco Stu after going a little astray!!!
fair play to Scobe ( Ronans new name !!) he shouldn't be hanging at the back trying to score yokes off the Cuclhie or Willow..he should be trying to burst Hairoil and Kellyer. So fair play to him for being a Gentleman Scobie !!

Oh my God that was a quick one, I was held up at work so only got to Enniskerry around 6:50 and cycled on the road to Crone. Then I jumped on a Mulchrone-Wallace train and holding on to it wasn't easy, the boys were on fire today!
Excellent spin... great loop, was glad to finish in the position that i did within the group. my weak point is defiantly climbing, but I can feel the legs getting stronger and that loop is going to pay off big time. some ground covered in 90 mins !!
deadly spin, climbs are a killer but it felt shorter this week so that must be good, the disco stu switch backs are just class, thanks to the coach for the motivation and the waiting and the leading...
