Sunday 22nd 10.00am Kilmashogue lane 9.30

Kilmashogue to Ballinastoe - XC racer spin.
The route will be the usual Tuesday spin to Curtlkestown and then th WW to Djouce, then across the Commonage to ballinastoe, the lower track , the Boardwalks would be a complete disaster.

Might have to bail after the green mile as the red bull flugtag is on and I have to bring the boy to see it in dunlaoighre

Wont make this unfortunately. I'll be in Galway on a hen weekend doing damage to my liver :8)

Great aul shpin there this morning. Weather was looking a suspect so an executive decision was made to stay in the shelter of Ticknock. Second time down Fergals new track and it really is a pleasurefest. Good to have the two lezzers back out....thanks folks.

And free socks to boot!

Jesus h christ !! the wind up to Kilmashogue was unreal !!
So I made an executive decision to do a Flying tour of 3 Rock..
We started with me, BON, Roo, Colm, Rusty, Max, Jack, Jason and Oscar.
Up Kilmashogue.. and i gets a call from Skip..hes in the wrong place..so we tried to meet him by riding over to Toms..no sign so off back up by Toms and up Ninja express and back on to the WW..
I got to the Junction with Max and Oz..waited for the freak bros..and once Dave Rusty was in sight off we went up Fairy..
At Fairy the freakin wind and sideways rain forced executive decision 2.. we abandoned Colm and Jaason..sorry kids..it was no place to hang around.
Down 2 rock and on to the Ticknock cycle lane..down the top of Fergals Fellujah..
up the fireroad , met Lawless Dave and in to the bottom of Fergals fellujah where the screams of Roo kept us entertained..
back up by Freds..and on to the Fireroad..
Down MX and up the stones and into RocknRolla..
Met Skippster and down Aggro..
Across BLT ..
Roo and BON abandoned us and off we went up Toms again and on to the WW..
At the top of WW..I made Ex decision number 3 and abandoned Rusty Dave..my race with Max forced the pace too much and we had gotten way ahead..
So down Ninja Express and across to Three Rock and up the Metro top !
Passed 100 Goobers , one particularly ignorant one who refused to get out of jacksies way who had to ride around him out in the crap..
When I caught up to him I said " excuse me, can I get by.."
Nothing.. So I took the high dodgy lane and dropped down in front of him..
" If you are caught by a faster rider and he says 'rider up' you should really move over and let him by, manners are important out here !"
He says " what"
i says " Rider up is the polite way of saying get out of the way.."
He could barely speak ..so i just gave him the " look at the state of you " look..
I managed to pass the remaining 99 of them cheerfully , every one of them was good enough to just pull over without even me having to say anything.
theres always one thick cnut out there, usually the fattest slowest brutalest rider in the world..
So off behind Jacksie and with Skip on my tail..we went down the rest of the trail and up the fireroad passing more Ticknockites ..
and down the bottom trail of Ticknock..
Then Me, Oz and Max had a blister of a race down Checkpoint Charlie..thats the original name for the trail at the bottom of the bone shaker..
Classic stuff..we fixed Maxs yang and had a brilliant spin.
The Carbon Hardtail is Gods own MTB...you cannpt make a mistake on it..from start to finish she makes no allowance for **** riding or lazy technique..
there are a few manmade things that God definitely had a direct hand in..
the Carbon hardtail, the Ninja Sword, the Motorcycle, Sexy lingerie and the Chocolate cake to name a few..
these are things everybody should have had experience of in their short lives..

Thanks lads that was some spin, though going in that wind. Had to give up at the ww in the end, legs couldn't get up them steps so finished off on a decent of new track and home.. wrecked now..

We met 3 Freeriders who have given up racing , fair play kids !! I can't wait to see your tail whips and xups and all you were practicing up 3 rock !!

Didn't think I was gone that long ! Though a week and a half is long time in epic world... great spin though I must get me one of them carbon jobs... someday

Ha Ha ! I'm not surprised you had a few changes to the planed route with that wind. I knew I would need a good few stops today to set up the bike. I only met the 2 lads just before I met you ! I'll be out Tuesday for some good old fashioned hardtail pain.
