Light & Motion Parts = Help Needed

Hi Lads,

I am posting on behalf of a mate of mine who has been banging his head of a brick wall trying to get his light up and running again, he needs a new lead for his L&M Seca since his dog chewed it.

He has contacted the manufacturer and the main dealer and they have been no help at all. Does any have any ideas of where he can get a new lead that connects into the main head unit or if anyone has an old one lying around that they would be willing to sell for parts let me know. If no parts available can anyone recommend a good electrician who might be able to do a hack job to get it back together as i cant believe after paying about €300 for a light it cannot be fixed???

why would you need a sparky its not rocket science cut the outer sleeve and join the wires tape it up and bobs your uncle unless its the connector

Thanks for that but if it were that easy I wouldnt have posted for help. The dog chewed it at the point where the cable meetes the connector plug so there is not enough wire coming out of the plug to do a hack job.

It's highly unlikely it's a completely unique connector, it should be possible to buy a new one that is easier to join to a cable. Do you have any close-up pictures of it or of where it goes in? Some measurements would help too.
