Unfortunately I will be missing this season so I'm selling my very neatly kept carbon hardtail bike.
Frame: 2011 Trek 9.8 (http://www.thebikefactory.co.uk/prod...roductid=58878).
Fork: Rock Shox Recon
Front disc brake : Shimano XTR
Tyres: brand new Maxxis Ignitor SL 2.1 (front tyre is still old one on the pictures)
Weight: around 10kg
Pedals: not included
Frame size: 18.5 (I'm 181cm and it fits perfectly)
Chain/cassette: changed at the end of last season (so no need to change them for a while)
All other components are from the 2009 Trek 9.8 model (http://www.trekbikes.com/us/en/bikes...rchive/elite98)

The new frame and new bottom bracket were fitted before the last season and I used the bike for a few races in Ireland and otherwise only for dry weather rides and it hasn't been touched since the end of the summer. I'm a roadie mostly so I haven't been doing anything nasty with the bike and it's in perfect working condition. I'm selling it for 1200eur. The store prices for Trek 9.8's are around 2800-3000eur but I haven't seen too many stores actually selling them so you'd probably be one of the very few people in Ireland with this bike! Try a new bike in a similar price range and you won't believe how big the difference is and that's before you've even hit the trails!
