I want a pair that wil go from
90 to 150
120 to 160 or whatever the current ranges are.
I hear bad things about The Marzocchii 55's, though orange Marzocchiis on Skippys morewoods were nice and seemed durable.

I might consider Foxes now considering the excellent job James O'Carroll did on my XC ones.
I'm drawn to the New RockShoxes..

rockshock lyrics or fox 36s don't bother with anything else. Your old 36s haven't skipped a beat on my bike since i fixed them. You had destroyed the internals on them after one of the rods inside had come loose. The manitou minutes i had for a while where class they felt really nice but just not as stiff as the 36s but they where way lighter.
is this a trick?

RockShox Lyrik on my FR bike - go from 115 to 160, though I rarely change them from 120 - mine are the spring version and have the thru-axle yokey which makes them mad stiff and strong, I like them,
plenty of twiddly knobs which I've never really twiddled
they're reduced to 651 from 726 on CRC, mad expensive but so are the rest of them
It would be between Fox 36 talas or Rockshock Lyriks for me.
Talas would shade it for me. Lighter and can be serviced locally (if needed)
Those Fox vans on the front of my Canyon are going like the day they where bought a year ago. Would make me go Fox for any size fork again.
Both will put dint the wallet but worth the extra few bob i think.
ok consider the fact that i don't care about the weight. I prefer spring to air due to the unbelievable amount of abuse my bikes get, and i only want the damn things to lock down for climbing and go all the way back up for descending.

i would prefer not to buy them from Chainreaction because I am patriotic, but that might be just the crazy pasta talking..
the rockshock can be serviced locally too. You can do them at home if your halfway mechanically minded. The tallas forks are they only forks you can't service at home as they need to be nitrogen charged.
I've just got the RockShox Domain, 115 to 160mm. Kinda like the Lyriks cheap ugly heavy sister but half the price. I heard only bad things about the Marz 55's.
and me every one slates the 55s. i was after a pair of the 55 ata but was told not to by a few people.
my mate has a new pair of vans 36. they are really plush but they'r 160mm with no lock out or adjustment. saying that he has them on his spesh enduro which he takes every where with no problem.
talas are awsome. the new 09 are 120mm, 140mm and 160mm. The fox float you can lock out at 160mm but are much pricier than the vans.
haven't had much experience with rock shocks yet, but people do praise them. and i think they'r a bit cheaper than fox??????????????
I have the new fox 32 talas 110-150 qr15 rl on the new bike and so far I'm really happy with them. feel much lighter up front than my last forks and super plush.
They seem to be very stiff with little or no vagueness.
I haven't pushed them too hard yet but everything so far has been good.
Maybe if I had the choice and the money I may choose the rlc over the rl which allows some adjustment to compression because if anything to get the full 150mm of travel I need to run them a little soft which causes a little tucking under on the slow tight stuff. But thats probably me looking for a little too much.
