a 2nd hand floor..what kind of recession hysteriamaniapscyhosis is going on here , what next ? Used toilet seats..sexed out mattresses..
this is getting out of hand !!
no word of a lie , i swear when i was younger , someone on ebay was selling second hand toilet paper , now that makes the 2nd hand floor look like the deal of the decade
Good idea to escape paying to dump it. But Spanish slate is dirt cheap when its new. I have some old tea bags if anyone is interested...
Hear, feck of you lot, this is called recycling for a fee, I'm trying to save the earth baby, the new hemp floor looks great. Next week the roof and walls will be on offer.
There has been a lot of interest in this, a lot, despite all the calls I'm dropping the price to €100. Next week they all get skipped so nab yourselves a bargain!

No tile kickers!
It was all set up for that pun, wasn't it Don?

Well, one good pun deserves another, I'll dig out one of Flann O'Brien's best when I have time later.
Good Puns - pity i'm not on the ball today or I'd come up wiyh something great. I have a reputation you know.
Right, as promised - one of FO'B's Keats & Chapman classics:

Keats was presented with an Irish terrier, which he humorously named Byrne. One day the beast strayed from the house and failed to return at night. Everyone was distressed, save Keats himself. He reached reflectively for his violin, a fairly passable timber of the Stradivarius feciture, and was soon at work with chin and jaw.

Chapman, looking in for an after-supper pipe, was astonished at the poet's composure, and did not hesitate to say so. Keats smiled (in a way that was rather lovely).

"And why should I not fiddle," he asked, "while Byrne roams?"
Ok, you win.

The tiles are now free, if you don't want them tell your builder mates or tiler pals. Shame to see these get binned but they will be skipped over the weekend if no takers. If you bought these new you'd pay near €1000.
