re build SPD's?

The bearings in one my XT SPD's are knackered
Has anyone had a LBS change the bearings or for the sake for €54 - just buy new ones?

By some €20 M520's, they go on forever and are cheaper that a pair of cleats. I laugh when I see anyone on anything else, laugh out loud I do.

If its just a bit of play in the bearings you can open them up and tighten the cones which is a 10 minute job and will get you loads more miles out of them. You just need a 10mm and 7mm spanner for adjusting the cones and to open them up I think its a 15mm spanner. No need to bin them just cause a bit of bearing play... but if you do give them to me cause I need another pair!
