I have just started doing a bit of mountain biking with a small old bike I have but am looking to buy a new mountain bike.
I am looking for some help with choosing a bike. These are the specs I want:
1. Good Front Suspension
2. Disc Brakes
3. Under €250
If anybody could help me with this by recommending a bike, I would be very grateful.

If you are looking to buy new then you will not get anything that fits your spec at the price you want to pay! Much better off trying to find a decent 2nd hand bike (and even then you'll struggle at €250) - try Adverts.ie or Done Deal!

Yeah, good point but even if I could get a recommendation, I could try find that bike secondhand.

If you want to get into the sport and enjoy it in a safe manner you would want to spend a bit more then 250! Good forks along would set you back 250 alone!
Have a chat to the guys at the bicycle recycling stores, they take donated parts and build up bikes. It might sound harsh to say "you need more money" but the guys above are wanting to make sure you don't spend your money on something that breaks first time out, or indeed you hurt yourself badly on. You can mountain bike on anything, but the more you get into it and the more technical trails you take in, you will need an upgrade. Spend a little more upfront if you can and the bike will last you longer and in turn actually cost you less in upgrades and maintenance
