Hi, trying to deside on which set to up grade to and have picked out 3 poss contenders :confused:

Buy without batteries and charger, $129 + $10 p&p last time I checked. Delivery ~ 2 days. Buy batteries & fast charger yourself in Argos, Woodies etc, runs on 4 x AA NiMH rechargeables, so carry a spare set and you NEVER have to run out during a spin. In fact you get about 2 h on full power so if your batteries are properly charged you shouldn't need to change them at all.
200 lumens on full power - plenty bright enough.
Excellent value for money compared to many other lights, which have you paying massively over the odds for fancy product specific Li ion battery systems - the AA solution and being able to carry spares makes a LOT more sense.
Extremely simple but effective mounting system for bars or the helmet mount which is included.
Excellent back-up in case of problems.

I have the lupine and its deadly. Can get 2 tuesday spins from a charge and its stupidly bright The spread of light off the beam is great. Only downside is the price. The hopes are cool too a little better value than the lupine.

those Dinotte lights are the best value lights ever, but the Hopes that Alfie and Luke have are class, very smancy. i have the Li-ion Light and motions and they are superb too..
I'll be buying new lights next year and i reckon the Hope will be the ones to go for. The battery pack size is brilliant.

Thanks lads for all the info and a few more options, will have to see how much i can justify to spend and look for the best deals.

The Lupines are good. Have the Wilmas. All their stuff is interchangeable so you can upgrade batteries/lamps n stuff

Seconded - I have the older ones of those for the last two years, they're as good as the day I bought them. Can't fault them.
