Bulldogs or high rollers?

I'm trying to make my freeride bike a bit more peddle friendly so it's out with the swampthings and in with a lower rolling resistance tyre. I don't want to compromise too much on grip so thinking of the above two.
I know and love the high rollers but a few in the know heads have been mentioning the Hutchisons Bulldogs.
My question is this which would you recommend is there much of a difference between the 2.35 and 2.5
Also should I mix it up with 2.5 on front and 2.35 on the back or stick with two the same size.
Is this the Bulldog I should be thinking about or are there others.

Can I make them ghetto tubeless ? Too many questions....... head melting

DONnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnn!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
if you want to make it pedalable forget about the 2.5 go for 2.3 on the front and 2.1 on the back. Bulldogs or Toros as there now called are the job.
2.5 tyres front and rear Intense fookyouhardsideways tyre FRO..and you can pedal up anything, even when they are inflated to 45 psi and are baldy.
Grip and rolling resistance are lies put out by tyre companies and scientists.
Just visualise yourself riding up everything and that'll work fine and its free too, or you can join the Goober Legion who read magazines every week to find new excuses for their feeblesness..
Thanks lads.

I'll just cut to the chase and buy a Lycra skin suit ;-)
stay out of the lycra unless you are Carbonating and under 13 stone and have well developed Arse and Mickey guns !!
I think the swamps are the best rolling tyres. there rounder thn others so theres less contact with the ground meaning more roll. and there deadly in any weather. you can leave them on all season and they'll do a damn good job. stick with the swamps methinks, just put in more of that air stuff.
