Broken water bottle cage

My water bottle cage is broken, the aluminium tubing snapped on one side I think Shane broke it while head butting that fence. The bottle still stays put but it wobbles around a bit. How does one mend aluminium, blowtorch, welding, duct tape? In the old days I would have bought a new one, but I had to eat my shoes this morning so cannot get up to Als. Anyone got a spare? I will measure my water bottle diameter this evening. What is the best way to measure the diameter? Measure the circumference first and divide by pie r squared?

Yes, Don the Camel is broken in and ready for use, only five sheckles, she's a bit of a spitter and biter but nothing you're not already used too I'm sure

what compound bottle cage have you got. Once you figure that out you'll need a alloy recombobulation device that is appropriate to the compound

If you need a cheap fix to get you out of trouble. Wrap a Wham bar around where the crack is. Should do enough to get you home.

anyway one of skippys mates had a great idea at arace one time,he duck taped his bottle to the down tube!
think he was planning on turning the bike upside down if he got thirsty maybe pm skippy about it i think the lad might have gotten a patent on it

Chuck bust cage, save weight (cool). Go the 'Madonna' route. PP is sterile when fresh.

And I thought that was my own fault ! i feel better now.
