Lycra shorts - bibbed or otherwise?
bibbed..non bibbed will wreck your head..they will just creep down your substantial backside !
Bibs are deadly, they hold your belly in and protect your nipples!
Don't mean to open a can of worms . . . but are there Epic bibed-shorts available? (I'm probably too slow to even think that!)

Don - I would suggest bibbed 3/4 length knickers! For some reason you don't feel so exposed when your knees are covered! I bought Adidas ones from Joe in Hollingsworth and they're really comfortable and have worn well!
On the Lycra v Baggies arguement, in my limited experience, the only reason not to wear lycra is the obvious aesthetic one - for all practical purposes lycra seems to be a better solution! Having said that I'll still be wearing baggies for everything other then racing and XC training!!!!
