I have bought a full sus frame as I have caved into the fact that my arse is too big and old to withstand the rigours of a hardtail. I would really prefer to keep this frame and build it up as a singlespeed etc. but my missus will have a Ciniption fit give the shed is already full of bikes.
These are making around â¬300 on Chain Reaction for the 16" which is a bit small for regular Xc work. Frame weighs about 4lb. It's a full Easton RAD SL tubeset, really nicely finished welds and lots of hydroforming goodness. Geometry/Intended use is similar to a Cove Stiffee.
Few small chips the worst being from chain slap on chain stay, overall though it looks pretty much new. Will include the stay protector in a fit of generosity if I get a decent price. Its seen about 6 mths of light use. Never jumped or crashed as I am too afraid of my s***e for that malarkey.
Look elsewhere if you want an xc race bike, but if you want something that is mental crack to cycle (seriously an xc bike does not compare) might be worth a look.
Oh yeah you need to run it with 120mm+ fork otherwise it will handle like s***e
