RS LYRIK u-turn 2009 HELP...

i bought a new RS lyrik coil u-turn 2009.
Can't feel any difference between low speed compression fully locked and fully closed. While riding, bumps, pedal-bob and fork dive when braking are the same no matter how the knob is set up...
the fork was bought new and i havent heard about any issues with mission control dampers.
do you think it might be too little oil? Rebound is OK.
i don't wanna open it not to loose warranty.
The fork was bought in france at online shop. Not sure if there is any international agreement for warranty issues and if Irish RS dealer could fix it for me.

I need to mention - Floodgate was off when riding. When it's on, i get like 10mm of travel (if push the fork down very slowly i can bring it much lower - there is some resistance but i get through it without forcing anything)

I've read on forums that the FLOODGATE settings affect compression.

What you think?

Deffo sounds like its low on oil any signs of leaks? Rebound uses oil from bottom of forks and compression damping from the top of leg.To set floodgate lockout fork and turn in floodgate valve till you can just about push fork down very slowly.

no leaks. the fork was bought new. i'm a bit worried the damper might be broken.
