Hows a going lads just need a bit of help picking a new set of winter tyres was looking at something from schwalbe like the muddy mary seen they got a good rating on best all round tyre on pinkbike a while back but a bit skeptical to spend 80 squids on them if there dirt so yeah has anybody got a thumbs up for them or any other suggestions for me on a differnt decent winter tyre ?

Hard to argue with Toros (front) and Ignitors (back), not mud tyres but roll well, not too heavy, puncture resistant in UST and will do pretty much whatever you want including aggressive DH. Having said that I'm smitten with the look Conti Rubber Queens, gnarly tread pattern and big volume for their width. I'll be conducting a comprehensive 25psi test this weekend.
the rubber queens are nice. Not as drag'y as a high roller but similar grip on the corners. They shed mud well and the compound is soft which makes them good on the roots etc. Surprisingly they show little wear for the couple of month or so i've been using them. Good all mountai or winter tire.
i have a 2.35 triple nano muddy mary on the front of my mbuzi 2.35 =maxxis 2.5
i find it great grippiest tire i have used so far have experimented with maxxis swampthing,wetscream and conti rubber queen and i find that the muddy mary is the busniess excellent in all conditions even the snow which will be along shortly clears itself good sidewalls (snakeskin)
never had a punture i even swapped out the dh tube for a xc one
pricey but i only paid 60 for a set
there is my two cents
rubber queens all the way Conti have majorly pulled the finger out with the MTB tires in the last year. There was a time when i wouldnt have let them near my bike but im running them on the dh bike and the all mountain bike. Rubber queens have so much grip and very little drag they shed mud like nothing else. Only down side is price compared to maxxis but then maxxis are half the price of everyone else. Havent tried the muddy mary but there a dh tire so cant see why youd stick it on the all mountain bike. Too much weight for my liking
