Recommend me a bike!

OK, let’s say I was considering replacing the my beloved Trance and I had circa €3K to spend what should I be looking at?

Wish list would be as follows:

Climbs really well, descends even better
All day bike, no DH rigs.
Strong, none of that carbon sillyness
Light
No less than 5” travel
Not blighted by 300 pivots
Tubeless of course

I like the look of Stu’s Yeti. Not keen on Spesh and have always got on well with Giants.

Lets hear it experts!

Personally I would keep the Trance, but I also like the look of Orange 5s, I think the yeti is 2K frame only

Zesty! I tried one once and absolutely loved it, single pivot design, light, great looks and a good all rounder.

I have a Cannondale RZ140 on the way if your interested..?

I cannot recommend them enough..

I like the angles on that Zesty, and the high BB, yum. Cannondale appeals too. Trek doesn't really do it for me, I associate them with rich people who can't ride, sorry John!

What the deal with the bargain basement SLX on all these fine bikes? I know they are bombproof but hardly sexy.

If you want a 5" travel 'all day bike' then the RZ is the only one to go for..
