Hello Peeps, I have a broken Xt flappy paddle gearbox problem, where would I bring such a thing to be fixed. It just flapps around, im getting to end of my tether with this Giant.
Is there such a place as a Shimano fix centre or the likes?
Keep an eye out for a bargain including the Rock shox world cups.
I have the same Shimano Xt pedals on my bike since the 1940's..no problem, i just take them off and put them on to my new bike whenever I get one , I do horrendous miles every week on them, no issues..
tried other pedals, waste of time..Oscar , what would a cheap ass Specialized do about an XT pedal on a giant..huh and now you have a Specialized..see how much craic you have getting a warranty replacement if anything happens to that one..muhahahahahahaha..

Skidders if you had bought those pedals from me, I would have just replaced them under warranty but hey, you wanted to save 2 shekels or something..now look at you !! bring them back to wherever you bought them, they are a deffo warranty issue !!
I just seen a Documentary on Discovery that apparently Specialized Bikes make you incontinent and unnatractive to women ! apparently !
then hes even madder than I thought !!! I bet he put the cable in backwards...I have a fine set of brand new XTR ones for sale !! â¬80 to you , Skids..or you can have the horrible SRAM XO ones off my Raven and I'll put the XTR on the Raven..then you can have the horrible XO Rearderailleur as well and I'll stick a good and proper XT one on to the Raven, but I warn you..the SRAM is horrible really horrible to use..I mean frickin awful !! They should pay people to use it, its that awful, I'm puking here thinking about them !! the horrible things !
I think I'll just take them off and burn them , that way nobody elses bike will get contaminated by them and their horrible stone age clunky shifting style..Heres a hill , press the CLunkLevEr and clunk , shudder, clunk , i'm in me going up hill gear..wait i'm going down again, press the ClUnKEr lever and Clunk back down again ..SRAm should rename itself CLuNk..because that what it feel like when you use them, unlike the suave sophistication of the venerable XT shift..

Gerry's not biting on the SRAM goading, try the Mavic route, that'll get him going.
I have a test bike I'm riding at the moment, XT shifter and front mech, SRAM shifter and X9 rear mech, 819 on the font, ZTR on the back, and as a result the back end of the bike is way faster than the front, I'm doing stoppies all over the place, thankfully when I'm going over I hit the gravity dropper Gerry recommended which saves the day.

Seeing as its only your gear shifter that's broken... I can lend you a shifter.... Oh but wait.... you'll need a brake lever as well... because your gear and brake are combined... oh dear me oh my..! What a fiddly little pickle you've gotten yourself into..!!
Well that all makes for very funny reading but Fcuk all use to me, you would think with the amount of MTB gods and Legends in this club I would get 1 serious answer but out of 14 nothing.........great!!
