My rear Crossmax SLR needs a new hub
€250 - €300 to have it replaced
(it has to go back to Mavic and they will fit new hub body and new spokes)

so-
should I spend that to keep the pair together?
or
buy a new lesser quality wheel set and try to sell off a front wheel and a rear wheel with knackered hub?


(hopefully this post might distract everyone from the riders bike post thats gone mental)

Rob, buy a better quality rear wheel from James@O.C... A Hope Evo hub with a Stans Crest rim...should be around the €250 mark...

could you even use the old rim. just get a new hub?

They use a special 24h hub so doubt getting a replacement is easy. Besides sending it back to mavic.

go for a nice hope hub on a ZTR crest rim or something
