It is used but in excellent shape, usual scuffs, cable rub and minor scratches as you'd expect.. no serious damage of any kind.

There are two small dings way down by the bottom bracket caused by a bike rack during transit - not as a result of a crash or a rock hitting the frame.

2007 model, fitted with a Fox Float RP3 shock

The shock is in 100% working order - no air or oil leaks of any kind

Frame pivots are all tight

Takes a normal 68mm bottom bracket

The Scalpel is a legendary machine and is still being produced today.

Does it have the wide dia headset dia for headshox or standard ?

Its a 1.5" head tube..

All Cannondale MTB's made from 2000 onwards will have 1.5" head tubes..

You can buy a reducer headset for it easily.. they are readily available on CRC and the likes..

I have a Cannondale Lefty Speed Carbon 110 fork (the ultimate in XC suspension) to go with this frame if anyone is interested...

Add another €500 to the price though..!!
