Saddle Help

Hey folks wondering if anybody has any tips for fixing a damaged saddle. Well when I say damaged it's not really, I got stopped in mid air recently by a mx bike and the plastic base came away from the rails.

There was no damage done to either part but the force of impact must of flexed the rails enough to allow them to separate from the plastic moulding.

It's a very nice ti railed SDG Ti Fly jobby and Id much prefer to get it going again rather than just binning it so does anyone have any tips on how to get the rails back into the front mount of the plastic?

all you need to fix it is another MX bike.....


Or if you are at the point of fecking it in the bin, you could cut a small bit off the rails, just enough to get it back together.... slap a bit of glue in the holes to stop it moving around

I knew someone would plum for the mx bike repeat for this one!

I'd prefer to leave it all intact but if I can't get it back in through brute force or sneaky tricks there's plenty of putty / uber glue things that should do a decent repair to some shaved plastic.

try connecting the saddle post to 1 rail at a time, on the backpart. you should be able to bend the rail back in. Ti is very springy, so it should return to full length.
worth a try....

Bring it to the Bikerack. They sorted the same problem for me.
(Well kinda, it broke again 2 months later)
