I had two of those exact front mechs.. both came off Cannondale's... I know one is gone but I'm not sure about the other.. I'll have a rummage around and see if I can find it.. will post back here if I do..

I'd be very surprised if that is the only mech that will work.. it is just a standard LX bottom swing mech.. nothing special by any means.. so any (right sized) bottom swing mech should work without a problem.. Its probably the way you have it set up.. bring it to an experienced bike shop to have a look at it.. I'm pretty sure Al in the Bikerack could sort that out for you no problem..
