As some of you know, a few of us from MAD went over to race in Bontrager 24/12 http://www.twentyfour12.com/ at the weekend. Well, it was without doubt one of the best weekends biking I've ever had. And one of the most successfull the club has had too, with 2nd place in Mixed 12hr pairs for Agata and Sean, 2nd place in 12hr pairs for Richie and Oisin, and of course 3rd place for Mick in 24hr solo men.

I know its been said already, but a massive thankyou has to go to Aine. Without her hard work weekends like this would'nt be half as successfull, or half as much fun. Both in the build up to the race, and during the race itself, Aine controlled the show. From helping the pairs teams with time gaps, bottles, and food, to minding 4 solo riders through 24hours of racing with food, bottles, encouragement, advice, and a million other things. Basically, we could'nt do it without Aine.
