Huck-asaurus rex!

Bit of a slight huck from Kev Coughlan in Barneys the other day.

It's off the wooden ladder on the original berm track, the landing is after the berm about 35ft away.... KABOOM!!

I watched that about 10 times and still couldn't get my head around the size of it, holy jaysus but he fairly flung himself a mad distance and height
must have been a shtrong oul horse he was ridin' to take that BOOOOOFFF! of a landing

well I wouldn't go that far... the cracks in it spread a bit after that impact.

Thats nothing compared to the prehistoric hucks the Sean lad accomplished on a Giant XTC . We didn't have fancy helmets or voodeo in those days to capture them..

Neck braces are the most hilarious things ever..goonies in flappy t shirts , no armour but neckbraces !! oh yeah !! you wait till i return to non XC cycling next year !! i'll huck the living daylights out of you and your band of mini people !!!

But broken necks are even funnier looking when your rolling around in a wheelchair. Body armour just stops cuts and bruises!

But don't you say you'll be doing downhill next year, every year? Just like the mega... I'll believe it when I see it!

So at what point in the laws of Physics does a jump become a huck...??

And what is a huck exactly..?

And a roost.... what the hell is a roost..??

Well Gerry, a huck is when you either pull up hard off the lip to get more air/stoke or land far further than the intended landing point.
